Make sure they have the 3rd wire for battery telemetry.
Laminating the Zawlade proto.
Add a bit of water to the glue. About a 1:8 ratio of water:glue.
Paint the glue mix on the raw foam with the paintbrush. Lay the paper on and smooth it out with the paint brush and squeegee.
Roughing out the Zawlade blade.
The above photo shows the flex difference using expanded polystyrene with and without a paper laminate. We just used standard 80gsm laserbond A4 sheets. I am applying the same force through both sheets.
A test foil Josh and I shaped a couple of days ago. It worked better than expected. The dihedral added a lot to the stability. We’ll see how it goes with an RC unit attached.
